I was always fascinated by the book by Baroness Orczy, The Scarlet Pimpernel, so I decided to make an illustration for one of the chapters. I think the name of the chapter was Farewell, so I decided to name the illustration that as well. It is on recycled paper, with watercolour, ink, pencil, and some coloured pencil.
